We are very proud of our American heritage. Every time we hear the National Anthem we are reminded of those of our ancestors who served in the armed forces fighting for our freedom. This patriotism started with John George Teeter who served as a Revolutionary soldier of Washington County, Virginia 1776-1783. Many others have served in most of the wars fought by our country in the name of liberty. May we always honor them.
